Stephen Collins received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and his MBA from Ole Miss.  As a FINRA registered General Securities and Municipal Bond Principal, he retired as the General Agent for MassMutual in Mississippi and South Texas after 21 years.  Stephen holds a Certified Life Underwriting (CLU) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.  He is currently a Financial Planner with M&T Financial in San Antonio.   
 
Stephen served as President of Madison-Ridgeland Rotary Club, Chairman of Ole Miss Risk and Insurance Management Board, Chairman of St. Dominic Hospital Advisory Board, President of Madison County Habitat for Humanity, served on the Executive board for the Andrew Jackson Council Boy Scouts of America, chaired the Gamma Kappa Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha Building Fund, is on the City of Olmos Park Investment Committee, is the Chairman of the South Texas Leukemia Lymphoma Society Board of Trustees, the Chairman of the national LLS Philanthropy Committee, and was the 2021 National LLS All-Star raising a record $2.26M.

Personal

Stephen is an avid pilot and enjoys reading, cycling, sports car restoration and traveling with his family.  He is involved in Angel Flight; the Snack Pak 4 Kids Leadership Team and he coordinated a Joshua Build for Habitat for Humanity in San Antonio. He is a graduate of the Class 17 Masters Leadership Program in San Antonio. 
 
An Eagle Scout and a native of Kingsville, Texas, Stephen is married to the former Shannon Lurate.  They have two daughters, a son-in-law, a granddaughter and a grandson and make their home in the Olmos Park area of San Antonio.
